A BALLOON and fireworks festival in taking place in Abingdon this weekend.
Xplosive Events are hosting the event tomorrow (Saturday, August 27) at the Abingdon Airfield off Honeybottom Lane from 2pm until 10.15pm.
The event will have fireworks, hot air balloons, music, a fairground, food stalls, and more.

The programme is:
- 3pm - Car Parks & Fairground Open
- 4pm - Balloons Inflate (Weather dependant)
- 5.30pm - Rich Goodwin Muscle Plane
- 7pm - Parachute Display Team
- 7.30pm - Daylight Fireworks
- 8pm - O’Briens Flying Circus
- 9:pm - Firemonkey Pyro
- 9.25pm - Phoenix Fireworks
- 9.50pm - Fireworks Crazy
- 10.15pm - Closing Show by Illusion Fireworks Ltd
A family ticket, for two adults and two children, costs £50. Tickets for adults are £19, tickets for children are £9,50 with infants costing £1.
