A 19-year-old man has been charged after a police officer had a gun pointed at him following a car pursuit in Didcot.
Jeremy Beckford, of Lambeth, London, has been charged with possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence; driving a motor vehicle other than in accordance of a driving licence and driving a motor vehicle with no insurance.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates' Court today.
Police said the charges related to an incident on December 14 where a black Volkswagen Golf was seen being driven erratically before the driver abandoned the car in Kynaston Road, and pointed a gun at a police officer.
