Four teenage boys have been arrested after a man was attacked during a bus trip between Witney and Carterton.
RAF serviceman Peter Forrest, 24, of Brize Norton airbase, suffered a broken leg, black eyes and was knocked unconscious in an attack on February 26.
Police yesterday arrested two 17-year-old boys and two more aged 16 and 15 on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm on connection with the incident.
They have been bailed until March 25.
Mr Forrest told police he was assaulted on a bus between Witney and Carterton at about 1.30am.
Half an hour later he left the bus in Brize Norton Road, Carterton, where he was attacked a second time and stamped on the head and legs, police added.
