A LORRY driver has appeared in court accused of causing the death of a cyclist.
Andrew Stubbs, 40, of Freehold Street, Lower Heyford, appeared at Wakefield Magistrates' Court charged with causing death by dangerous driving, failing to stop and perverting the course of justice.
The charges relate to the death of Anthony Spink, 41, of Featherstone in Yorkshire, who died after a collision with a HGV in Wakefield last July.
Stubbs was granted unconditional bail to appear at Leeds Crown Court on Monday.
