I agree with Jane Reeve about congestion on the roads (Oxford Mail, February 19).
But I would like to know how many drivers there are in her household and how many of them own a car.
My wife drives her car to work and I drive my car to work.
We work at different times and different locations, so we have no choice but to have two cars.
I would love to have one car so we do not have to pay twice for everything.
There is a good bus service in place to get to Oxford city centre when you leave your car in the park-and-ride car park. But how do we get to the car park?
Bus services around Oxford and surrounding towns are non-existent, so instead of complaining about the number of cars on the road, perhaps Ms Reeve should be complaining about the lack of services available that should be in place to stop people driving.
