PART of Banbury School is closed today after asbestos was discovered during routine maintenance work.
Stanbridge Hall, the oldest part of the school which is due to be demolished later this year when a new classroom block is completed, is out of bounds to staff and pupils while workers make the building safe.
It is expected to re-open tomorrow.
