POLICE officers were called to break up a rave in an Oxfordshire village this weekend.
Posting online, Thames Valley Police’s Cherwell branch reported that officers attended the scene in Mixbury, 10 miles north of Bicester.
Officers remained in the area until everyone had left the scene yesterday.

Superintendent Bruce Riddell, local policing area commander for Oxford, said: “Thank you to those that reported this to us.
“We are working hard to disperse those in attendance and are using legislation to prevent them from returning.
“I’d also like to extend my thanks to the local community for their support and patience whilst we close this event down.”
