Caterer Suzan Allan's hard work paid off when the rock 'n' roll night she spent months organising brought in £2,000 for Oxfordshire charity Against Breast Cancer.
The village hall in Steeple Aston, near Bicester, rocked to the sounds of Monsters of the Deep - whose lead singer is vicar, the Rev Michael Roden - and Oxfordshire band The Shih Tzus.
The event was organised by Mrs Allan, who runs her catering company, Croxfords, in Upper Heyford.
She also cooked curry and pink fairy cakes for the 120 guests. Mrs All and her team of helpers raised the roof as, dressed in their Grease-inspired pink outfits, they gave a rendition of Mustang Sally.
More money came in from the 'pink pinkies' (false nails) applied by Samantha de le Quera and the sale of pink roses donated by Daisies of Oxford.
Mrs Allan said: "It was a fabulous event and I'd like to thank all the people who helped make it such a success.
"We all know people who have been affected by breast cancer and it was great to raise £2,000 for Against Breast Cancer, who are doing valuable work towards finding a cure for this dreadful disease.
"I can't say we'll be doing it again in the very near future, but you never know, the folks of Steeple Aston were keen for a replay!"
