Mental health bosses have said they are reviewing the way its staff cover home visits after two workers were stabbed by a patient in Oxford.
Two men aged 29 and 45 were stabbed as they visited a patient at Celadine Place, Blackbird Leys, on Wednesday.
The 29-year-old has been released from hospital while his colleague remains at the John Radcliffe Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
A spokesman for the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Mental Healthcare Partnership said: "OBMH has policies and procedures in place which are regularly reviewed to ensure staff are kept as safe as possible.
"A full investigation into this incident will be undertaken by the trust. As part of this investigation we will be looking into policies and procedures covering home visits."
A 42-year-old man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder is in a secure unit being assessed by experts after being sectioned under the Mental Health Act.
Police spokesman Victoria Brandon said officers have yet to interview the man.
