Criminals who make millions of pounds in ill-gotten gains are now being targeted by extra financial investigators.
Police have recruited 10 specialists to trace funds hoarded by criminals in the Thames Valley.
More than £42m has already been seized from criminals following their convictions across the region in the last 12 months. The money that is tracked down is shared between the police, the courts and the Crown Prosecution Service.
