Business leaders in Oxford are being given top tips on avoiding the seven deadly sins that restrict the growth and innovation of their companies.
With the challenges of running a successful firm harder than ever in today's tough climate, a seminar at the Kassam Stadium on March 18 will reveal how bosses can improve their leadership and delegation skills and boost their bottom line.
The free event, which runs from 8am until 10.30am is aimed at chief executives and managing directors from small to medium sized enterprises and is hosted by Vistage International, a chief executive membership organisation.
Mike Watson, a Vistage chairman who has amassed more than 30 years experience in the engineering and technology industries, will head up the Oxford seminar.
He said: "Many bosses are dealing with a constant barrage of problems and end up managing their companies instead of leading them.
"Poor delegation, due to a lack of top talent or an inability to prioritise, is a further sin which drags them deeper into the day-to-day trivia.
"We'll be outlining how measuring internal performance opens up new opportunities and keeps companies one step ahead of the competition."
