A GARAGE fire which caused 100 homes in Sutton Courtenay to be evacuated is thought to have been caused by an electrical fault.
Police and firefighters investigating the cause of the blaze at Sutton Courtenay Tyres garage has confirmed that it was not an arson attack.
The most likely cause is that an electrical fault started the fire, leading to gas canisters exploding.
More than 100 people were forced out of their homes while firefighters tackled the blaze on the morning of Wednesday, January 30.
