Inquests will be held into the deaths of eight people at Oxfordshire’s coroner’s court this week.
The hearings – held at County Hall – will see the coroner answer four questions: the identity of the person who died, and how, when and where they came by their death.

Tuesday, August 2
10am – Jennifer Wong, 32, from Oxford, died when her bicycle was involved in a collision with an HGV in Headington on September 26, 2021. Tributes to the Oxford Brookes staff member last year described her as 'lovely, caring and kind'.
Wednesday, August 3
10am - Judith Lavell, 86, from Wallingford, died on March 18 in Wallingford
11am - Marc Wilson, 49, from Oxford, died on January 19 in Oxford
12pm - Mark Nicholls, 72, from Abingdon, died on March 24 in Goring
2pm - Clive Buckley, 76, from Woodstock, died on April 15 in Woodstock
3.15pm - Jack Fane, 30, from Thame, died on April 18 in Thame
Thursday, August 4
11.45am - Anthony Steinthal, 65, from Reading, died on June 6 at the John Radcliffe Hospital
1pm - Brynley Torrington, 78, from Bampton, died on June 7 at the John Radcliffe Hospital
On Tuesday, the coroner is expected to hear a pre-inquest review into the death of Chegory McCarty, 35, in Bicester.
Pre-inquest reviews are typically held ahead of more complex inquests, where the coroner may need to rule on points of law or decide which witnesses should attend to give evidence.
