Sam Fincher was the hero for Gosford Hill (Kidlington) with an extra-time winner against Langtree (Woodcote) in the Oxfordshire Under 16 Cup final at Oxford City.
Fincher struck five minutes into the first period of extra time, latching on to captain Ross Gray's pass to finish in the bottom corner for a 2-1 victory.
Gosford Hill, with Charlie Appleton and Gray solid in defence, had opened the scoring after 20 minutes when Sam Edmonds rifled a through ball from Kieran Sanders into the corner of the net.
Numerous chances were missed by Gosford Hill, before Langtree equalised 20 minutes from time when they scored from a free-kick after Lee Sherlock was harshly adjudged to have handled outside the area.
