Is it just me, or do others share my ambivalence to East Oxford Action's annual Cowley Road Carnival?
Whereas the opportunity for the local community to work towards and enjoy a day of celebrating is most welcome, East Oxford hosting a fun day for the whole of Oxfordshire is perhaps not.
Perhaps some form of consultation would be in order, to determine whether East Oxford wants to host a wider Notting Hill-type event.
