A lorry driver arrested after a three-vehicle pile-up on the A34 has been released on bail after questioning by police.
The driver, 28, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after the crash near Weston-on-the-Green yesterday.
His lorry, a Renault Scenic and a Renault Espace were involved in a collision on the northbound carriageway between Weston-on-the-Green and junction nine of the M40 at about 1pm.
The driver of the Renault Scenic, a woman in her 40s, was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, in Oxford, with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The man driving the Renault Espace sustained minor injuries. The carriageway was closed until about 5.30pm.
The lorry driver has been bailed until March 18.
