A LORRY driver was being interviewed by police last night after a three-vehicle pile-up caused chaos for motorists on the A34 yesterday.
The A34 between Weston-on-the-Green and junction nine of the M40, at Wendlebury, was closed for four-and-a-half hours after the collision at 1pm. A woman in her 40s was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but last night her condition was described as not life-threatening.
A man also involved in the collision suffered minor injuries in the crash which happened on the northbound stretch of the A40 and involved a lorry, Renault Scenic and Renault Espace.
Motorists were diverted via the B430 towards Middleton Stoney.
