A charity set up a year ago is raising funds and running a support group for parents of or carers for children born with defects because of alcohol.
The FASD Trust (Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders) was started by Julia and Simon Brown, who live near Witney, and whose adopted daughter Niamh has brain damage.
The Browns founded the trust to raise awareness of preventable birth defects caused by women drinking alcohol during pregnancy.
It runs support groups and a telephone helpline, holds training seminars and provides advice on best practice to teachers and medics.
On Saturday, March 1, they are holding an open morning, from 10am to noon, at the St James Centre, in High Street, Stonesfield, followed by a session of the support group for Oxfordshire at the same venue on Saturday, March 8, from 10.30am to noon.
Mrs Brown said: "We're taking our exhibition stand along and members of the trust team will be on hand to talk to people about our work."
