Firefighters are still searching for an elderly woman whose home was gutted by fire.
Fire crews have been unable to access the bungalow in Sutton Wick Lane, Drayton, because of safety reasons and a large number of contents inside the property.
The semi-detached property caught alight at 9.30pm last night. Neighbours said they saw flames up to 30ft tall at the height of the blaze.
The woman's husband was taken to the Stoke Mandeville Hospital suffering from burns at about midnight.
John Lloyd, group manager for Oxfordshire County Council Fire and Rescue Service, said fire crews were working on the assumption that the woman was still in the property.
