Oxford & Cherwell Valley College's Football Development Centre have secured a £1,000 sponsorship deal - following publicity in the Oxford Mail about two of their successful students.
Marcus Folan, of Oxford civil engineering firm M Folan Contracting Ltd, contacted the college after reading about the achievements of Matty Taylor and Tom Roberts.
Taylor has been given a non-contract deal by Oxford United, while Roberts has been called up to the England Colleges Under 19 squad.
Des Buckingham, the Football Development Centre's head coach, was delighted to secure the sponsorship deal.
He said: "I'd just like to thank Mr Folan and believe it will be a great help to the centre and the progress that we continue to make."
Marcus and his wife, Noula, who is also a director of the firm, have a son, Padraic, studying for a BTEC national diploma in Performance & Excellence at the college.
And Noula said: "I saw the piece in the Oxford Mail about Matty Taylor and Tom Roberts, and I thought it was brilliant.
"I was really impressed with the college and I thought I will sponsor them.
"Our son goes to the college. He is a footballer and he is getting a great deal out of it."
