TWO people were sentenced at Oxford Crown Court for a robbery in Oxford in August 2007.
Andrew Puddephat, 24, of Osney Mead, Oxford, was sentenced to two years' imprisonment and Joanne Moriarty, 24, of Estover Way, Chinnor, was sentenced to 18 months' imprisonment.
Det Con Iain Spencer, of Oxford Priority Crime Team, said: "The robbery took place at around 1.15am on Wednesday, August 1. A 19-year-old woman was approached by Moriarty who said she wanted to speak to her in a nearby alley.
"When she refused she was pushed into the alleyway by Puddephat who pushed her to the ground and stole her bag.
"I hope this case shows that this type of behaviour will not be tolerated in the city."
