Oxford West and Abingdon MP Evan Harris has called for an investigation into the use of high-pitched buzzing devices, called Mosquitos, to ward off groups of teenagers from public places.

Dr Harris, who has not called for an immediate ban, said: "I have had complaints they are being used continuously and prevent young people from going to a certain areas altogether."

Mosquitos are used in Abingdon and Didcot.
