Almost all the freedoms, privileges and levels of care we have enjoyed in this beloved country of ours were won by the long and arduous struggles of men and women of the Christian faith over many centuries, and mostly at great personal cost.
How strange and sad that there are people who today have no realisation of this or gratitude, and are willing to see it all thrown away in the name of 'political correctness'.
Doesn't the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, realise that we have thousands of asylum seekers in our midst, who are fleeing from the horrors of sharia law? Perhaps he hasn't noticed.
Why, for the sake of Christ, doesn't he get on with the job he is paid to do?
