STUDENTS stayed silent for an hour to raise more than £200 for charity.
Pupils from two tutor groups at Abingdon and Witney College took on the challenge of the Big Hush to raise cash for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Clare Cook, the charity's fundraising manager for Oxfordshire, said: "I'm really pleased that the college was involved and think they did amazingly well, raising such a large amount of money for such a small group of pupils."
