RESEARCHERS will receive £10m in Government funding towards pioneering treatment for diabetes.
The Oxford Centre for Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism, based at the Churchill Hospital in Headington, is one of six centres across the UK to benefit.
The money will be used to offer transplants of insulin-producing cells to adults suffering from Type 1 diabetes.
