THERE can be only one answer to the call to prayer issue.
When in Rome, do as the Romans do!
I spent three months living in Sarajevo during 1995/96.
At that time, the city's population was mainly Muslim.
There were Christian and other religious churches in the city, as well as the many mosques, and before the civil war, all the different religions got on well together.
This could be the city of Oxford in reverse.
It takes only one powerful group (whether it be Muslim, Christian or other) to force its ideas/culture on a population, to start unrest, violence and eventually civil war.
I lived with a Muslim widow on the front line.
She and her neighbours, and many of the people I worked with, all told me the same story: "We got on well, but once it started, neighbour turned on neighbour."
We must all learn from the mistakes of the past and not be afraid to protect the British way of life.
