A TEENAGER was today undergoing surgery in hospital following a stabbing at a house in Bicester.
The 18-year-old man was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, after being stabbed in the stomach last night.
Police and paramedics were called to a house in Pembroke Way in the Glory Farm area of the town at 8.50pm.
A spokesman for South Central Ambulance said: "We attended the incident with police officers and an 18-year-old male needed treatment."
Police arrested a 19-year-old man on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent following the incident.
Spokesman Claire Gourlay said the victim's injuries were serious but not thought to be life-threatening.
