SCHOOLBOYS put on their running shoes and raised more than £2,000 for charity.
The pupils from Abingdon School's cross country club presented Oxford hospice charity Helen and Douglas House with the cheque, which was raised by boys, staff and parents who ran the Bicester 10k road race in December.
Alexis Christodoulou, the master in charge of the club, said: "We really admire the work that Helen and Douglas House do.
"We felt that the Bicester 10k would be the right event for us to raise sponsorship."
