Inspector Morse author Colin Dexter will be the guest of honour at an Oxfordshire charity's first fundraising ball.
The Child Brain Injury Trust will host the event at the Randolph Hotel, in Beaumont Street, in an attempt to raise £20,000 for a project in Oxford offering support to children and families affected by acquired brain injuries.
Auctioneer Charles Ross will oversee bidding on items including Quentin Blake artwork and an opportunity to walk with wolves.
The ball, with music by The Big Swing, takes places on Saturday, March 29, and tickets cost £60.
