POLICE are appealing for information after three burglaries at a building site in Cumnor Hill.
The first burglary was between 5pm on Thursday, January 24, and 7.20am on Friday, January 25. Tools were stolen from the upstairs bathroom.
Between 5pm on Monday, January 28, and 7.20 am on Saturday, February 2, thieves broke in to the property and stole wooden flooring worth about £7,000.
Overnight between 5pm on January 31 and 7.15am February 1, the property was broken into and tools were stolen, including an electric heater and a whacker' plate.
PC Steve Knight, based at Abingdon police station said: "We suspect that these burglaries could be linked and are keen to catch those responsible.
"We think the offenders have taken down the fence at the front of the property and have loaded the flooring on to pallets, which must then have been lifted on to the back of a vehicle.
"I believe that a vehicle would have been parked outside the building on Cumnor Hill which is right opposite the speed camera.
"I would urge anyone who may have seen suspicious activity or a vehicle in the area to contact the police."
