AN elderly man had his watch stolen yesterday (19) after two women pretended to be a charity getting people to sign a petition.
The man, who is in his seventies, was exiting his vehicle in Stert Street, Abingdon, at about 12.30pm when the women approached him.
They asked him to sign a petition for a charity and while doing so, they distracted him and took his Rolex watch.
