This is the first picture of jailed sex offender Willem van der Werf.
The 56-year-old was jailed for more than 12-and-a-half years on Friday for grooming, sexually assaulting and raping a girl in Banbury last spring.

Sending him to prison, Judge Nigel Daly told the Dutchman: “What you have done to her is destroy not only her childhood but possibly the rest of her life. You did it for your own sexual gratification. There is no escaping from that.”
Werf, formerly of Calthorpe, Banbury, received 12 years and nine months’ imprisonment. He must serve an extended four years on licence and will remain on the sex offender register for the rest of his life.
Thames Valley Police has now released Werf’s custody shot.
