A WOMAN had her nose broken in an assault in Banbury.
After leaving the Liquid Lounge moments before, she was attacked by another woman at 10.15pm on Saturday outside the HSBC Bank in Market Place.
After an argument, she was punched and kicked, leaving her with a fractured nose and bruising to her face.
The woman who assaulted her was white with below shoulder length, light brown/blonde hair. She was wearing a three-quarter length green and white striped top with a belt, and boots. She left with a group of men and headed towards the High Street.
PC Gary Hoy, from Banbury police station, said: "This was a nasty attack that left the victim with bad facial injuries and it has severely shaken her confidence.
"At 10.15pm on Saturday, the Market Square would have been a busy place with many people going to and fro, and I am certain people would have seen this assault. If you did, or heard someone boasting about it later, please get in touch."
PC Hoy can be contacted via the Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505.
