Traffic on the A40 is moving slowly and a lane closed, due to a pair of cows next to the road. 

Thames Valley Police's Roads Policing team put about a warning about the cattle this morning (July 8). 

The cows are located on the A40 near Thornhill Park and Ride, towards Wheatley. 

Officers on the scene have urged drivers to "approach with care and slow down".
