A boxing monkey, a slave seller and belly dancers all feature in a drama group's annual panto.
The Wootton Players' version of Sinbad the Sailor opens tonight and runs until Saturday.
The drama group members are hoping the performance will be good enough to earn them the annual Oxfordshire Drama Network Competition prize for the second year running.
Wootton Players chairman Jenny Shepherd, who plays Sinbad the Sailor, said the group had a good reputation in the village, and most of the tickets had already been sold.
