Sir - I reply briefly to the letters from Messrs Lewis and Thayer (February 1). The clear-up rate for Oxford city centre crime is currently 55 per cent.
There are no full-time CCTV cameras along the Botley Road, which is why Mr Thayer's friend's trailer is currently undetected. We will be contacting him regarding his additional information.
