A man has been fined by an Oxford court for not having a number plate on the front of his vehicle.

Daniel Mitchell-Green, of Two Mile Ash in Milton Keynes, appeared at Oxford Magistrates Court on June 14.

The court found that 35-year old Michell-green drove a vehicle on the Grafton Gate East road in Milton Keynes without a number plate fixed to the front of it.

He was fined £220, made to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £90.

Under the law, it is illegal to drive a vehicle that does not have a number plat fixed to the front and back of it.

Failure to comply with the DVLA rules can lead to a fine of up to £1,000.
