Why is it that everything always seems to be dumped in or around the Blackbird Leys estate in Oxford?
We had the threat of 2,000 new homes being built without infrastructure, and the proposed moving of the sewerage treatment works further into the estate.
Now we have the threat of wind farms.
These obtrusive objects have few merits - with the costs associated with them, they produce very little energy.
The real benefits are for the owners in vast profits for selling the power.
Why do these Liberal Democrats and Greens not have them in North Oxford or even South Oxford, on the old polluted gasworks' site, which is no good for building, or Wolvercote meadows, Cutteslowe, or even Port Meadow.
No, they dump anything they want east of the ring road.
I am sick and tired of this happening.
