PEOPLE who raced to save the man who was stabbed in an Oxfordshire park in broad daylight have been praised by the police.
Detective Inspector Rob Platt said they have given him the 'best possible chance of survival'.

In an appeal for witnesses, senior investigating officer Detective Inspector Rob Platt said: “I would like to thank those members of the public who came to the aid of the injured man. Their actions are greatly appreciated as they provided emergency first aid to the victim before medical professionals arrived."
He added: “I would like again to place on record my praise for those members of the public who came to the immediate aid of the victim, applying emergency first aid until medical professionals arrived at the scene.
“Their actions have undoubtedly given the victim the best possible chance of surviving his injuries, and I commend them for their swift response.”
