The Light cinema and entertainment venue is set to open Friday June 10 in the town centre of Banbury at Castle Quay Waterfront.
The waterfront development aims to turn Castle Quay into a canal-side experience-led destination, complete with a multi-screen cinema, leisure offers and restaurants.
The venue brings a seven-screen cinema, 10-lane bowling alley, adventure climb arena, arcade, karaoke room, interactive darts, mini-golf and American style pool tables to the region.

James Morris, CEO of The Light cinema, said: “We’re so excited to be opening our doors here in Banbury.
“We have been blown away by the response and our team is ready and raring to go. We can’t wait to welcome the people of Oxfordshire to this special venue.”
We might a bit biased but, our new bowling alley really is a vibe! 🎳

The cinema will offer the latest blockbusters including the release of Jurassic World Dominion tomorrow (Friday June 10). The cinema screens each offer luxury seating with armchairs, electric recliners, loungers, and sofas for customers.
The Adventure Climb centre offers 26 climbing routes, 10 metre bouldering walls and a seven-metre-high leap of faith.
The three-floor venue also includes a 10-lane bowl alley, interactive darts, a karaoke room and games arcade.
The venue’s diner also offers pizzas, burgers, wraps, wings from Fratellis and PITTSBURGER.
The opening of the entertainment venue is part of a multi-phase project, which included the opening of Lidl and a 117-room Premier Inn last year.
