OXFORD UNITED are on the hunt for new mascots.
Olly and Olivia the Ox will be making a grand return to the Kassam Stadium with fancy zushed-up costumes.
Bosses at Oxford United are on the hunt for the perfect pair of volunteers who are ready to hype up crowds on matchdays.
The job is quite amusing, and it sounds like great fun, but all applicants will need to fit a strict list of criteria.
You’ll have to love Oxford United because you’ll be going to every single match.
Mascots have to go to every game, sometimes in the evenings and sometimes at the weekends, and be willing to stay in character the whole time – even if the team lose!
You’ll also need to be at least 18-years-old, be willing to undergo a DBS check and be physically fit (you’ll be standing for long periods in a stuffy costume).
The right person will also be outgoing, willing to work in a team and have fabulous communication skills – enough to make the crowds boo and cheer.
You don’t need to have any qualifications to apply.
If you think you’re the next Olly or Olivia, send your CV and covering email (explaining why you want to be considered) to ATaylor@oufc.co.uk
