TRISTAN NUGENT, 28, of Old Jamaica Road, London, was found guilty of failing to provide a specimen of blood for analysis at Abingdon police station last October. He also admitted failing to attend court. He was given six months’ imprisonment suspended for two years, 100 hours of unpaid work and up to 32 rehabilitation activity requirement days. He was banned from driving for three years and ordered to pay £620 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

KYLE ELLIS, 20, of George Street, Banbury, pleaded guilty along with co-defendant Kyle Howkins, 22, of Great Western Drive, Didcot, to handling a stolen Xbox worth £198. The item was taken to Cash Converters, Banbury, on August 28, 2020. Ellis was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £40 in compensation and a £22 victim surcharge. His co-defendant received an 18 month conditional discharge and must pay £40 compensation and £107 in costs and surcharge.

JONATHAN STEAR, 39, of no fixed address, admitted breaching the requirements of post-prison sentence supervision by being out of contact with probation since February. He was sent back inside for seven days. The court record noted he had a ‘flagrant disregard for court orders’.

MOHAMMED AFZAL, 24, of Chilllingworth Crescent, Oxford, was given a community order after he pleaded guilty to causing actual bodily harm to a man in Park End Street on June 5, 2021. Afzal must complete 120 hours of unpaid work and up to five rehabilitation days with the probation service. The magistrates ordered he pay £200 in compensation and £180 in costs and surcharge.

LEE WINDEBANK, 31, of Worcester Drive, Didcot, was found guilty in his absence of drug driving a Mercedes Vito in Wantage Road, Didcot, on November 1, 2020. He was over the limit for cocaine derivative benzoylecgonine. He also admitted driving a Vauxhall Zafira on the A34 in September 2020 while disqualified and without insurance, and was found guilty of driving another vehicle in Long Wittenham on December 21, 2020, without insurance. He was banned from driving for a year and sentenced to 16 weeks’ imprisonment suspended for two years. He must complete a 12 month drug rehabilitation course and pay £423 in costs and surcharge.

DANIEL HOOK, 35, of no fixed address, admitted making homophobic comments to police officers in Oxford last November. He was given 12 weeks’ imprisonment suspended for a year. He must pay £150 in compensation.

PATRICK CAHILL, 24, of Ridley Road, Oxford, admitted driving a Vauxhall Vectra in Watlington on November 19 last year while over the drink-drive limit. He had 134 milligrammes of alcohol in 100ml of blood. The legal limit is 80. He was fined £480, banned from the roads for a year and must pay £133 in costs and surcharge.

TERRY RICHARDSON, 43, of Pebble Hill, Radley, admitted drug driving a VW Golf in Kennington last November. He was over the limit for cannabis. He was banned from driving for a year, fined £400 and must pay £125 in costs and surcharge.

DEAN FROGGATT, 34, of Moodyscroft Road, Birmingham, pleaded guilty to drug driving a Vauxhall Insignia on the M40. He was stopped on November 12 last year near Banbury and found to be over the legal limit for cocaine derivative benzoylecgonine. He was fined £596, banned from driving for a year and must pay £145 in costs and surcharge.

JAKUB FIETKO, 34, of Downs Road, Minster Lovell, admitted drink driving a Mercedes flatbed truck in Downs Road, Witney, on May 8. He was found to have 40mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was fined £150, must pay £119 in costs and surcharge and was banned from driving for a year.
