Driving along the A40 from Oxford recently, I was gazing across fields near the Cogges Farm turn when I spotted an animal I did not recognise.
I got a very good view of it. It had a tubby, square body with a smaller head, was medium brown in colour, with short legs and a short tail.
When I got home, I did some research on my computer and found a photograph of a capybara, a rare South American animal. I am sure that is what I saw.
