An Oxfordshire man has died in an accident involving a lorry on the M25 in Kent.
Alex Hibbs, from Blewbury, near Didcot, a book designer for Macmillan publishing in Oxford, was believed to have been getting out of a vehicle parked on the hard shoulder when the accident happened on the clockwise carriageway at noon yesterday.
James Richardson, personnel director at Macmillan, said: "We are all in shock about it. It is all very unexpected.
"It is true to say that all his colleagues in Oxford are very shocked and saddened by it. He was very highly thought of and was regarded as a great colleague."
The accident happened between junction four, near Swanley, and junction five.
