A fallen tree is blocking two lanes on the motorway.

The tree is blocking lanes one and two of the M40 between Junction 9 (Wendlebury Interchange) and Junction 10 (Cherwell Valley Interchange).

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: “They have just cleared the tree and the carriageway is running in lane 2 and 3.

“Please be patient, the traffic is now flowing.”
