A protester arrested following a treetop sit-in at Oxford's Bonn Square last month has been bailed, police said today.
Gabriel Chamberlain was arrested on suspicion of aggravated trespass following his protest on Monday, January 14.
Campaigners had been trying to stop the felling of trees before work began on a £1.5m redevelopment of the square.
The 34-year-old, who stayed in the tree for 12 days, has been told to return to St Aldate's Police Station on Wednesday, March 5.
A police spokesman said it is thought four other protesters arrested have also been bailed to reappear on the same date.
