A rainbow coloured crossing in Oxford has been repainted in time for Pride.
The multi-coloured crossing on New Road, outside the Oxfordshire County Council building, was created by the highways team in 2019.
The vibrant colours which flank the black and white crossing are in keeping with the LGBTIQ+ flag.

It was created to show the county council’s support for Oxford’s annual Pride event, as well as the wider LGBTQ+ community.
The crossing has now been given a fresh coat of paint just in time for Oxford Pride 2022, which will take place on June 4.
Debbie Brixey, chair of Oxford Pride, said the crossing looks “lovely” with a new coat of paint.
She added that she is glad it has been refreshed in time for festival.
