A feature of Google Maps lets you walk through Oxford’s streets as they were in 2008.
The Google Street View feature provides users with interactive panoramas of streets and other locations around the world, meaning they can explore places across the globe from their mobile phone.
Launched back in 2007, the technology has continually developed and Oxford’s maps have been updated many times.

However, a key feature means you can scroll back in time to access maps from more than a decade ago.
Using the feature, you can experience a blast from the past and walk past the old Westgate Centre, shops and restaurants which have since closed and spot fashion trends which are certainly not in style now.
