A MAN has been hospitalised after a car accident in Swinford yesterday (30).

The motorcyclist, who is in his twenties, sustained serious injuries after colliding with a white Peugeot Expert van at about 8pm on the B4044, Eynsham Road, south of the Swinford Toll Bridge.

The driver of the van was uninjured but the motorcyclist, who was riding a red Yamaha motorbike, remains in hospital.

Thames Valley Police is now appealing for witnesses.

Investigating officer, PC Dean O’Dell, of the joint operations road policing Unit, said: “If you have any CCTV footage or any dash-cam footage if you were in the area around the time, please come forward.

“I’d also ask that you check any recordings in case it has captured something that could assist our investigation.”
