A MAN has been ordered to pay more than £200 for driving eight miles over the speed limit.
Ian Lawrence, 57 of Stoke Talmage, Thame was caught speeding at 38mph in a 30mph zone.
Lawrence was caught speeding on the B480 in Chiselhampton near Thame.

He appeared in Oxford Magistrates’ Court on March 31 and pleaded guilty to exceeding the 30mph speed limit.
The defendant’s guilty plea was taken into account when imposing a sentence.

Lawrence was endorsed with three points on his driving licence and fined £150.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £90, bringing the total ordered to pay to £274.
